Why Frog is lucky !!

Specially for my customers whom have gotten the green froggie wallets & asked why frog has brought them more luck : >

"Frog" in Japanese is "kaeru." (蛙. While the kanji/katagana involved in writing the words are different, it is pronounced the same way you say "return/to return" (also "kaeru" 返る )
According to the Japanese, frogs are lucky item to keep around so that money, friends, good things which you usually give away will at some point "kaeru" (come back) to you!

Also, there is this saying :
お金が返る。(Money returns)
Which sounds like,
お金が蛙。(Money is frog)

So now you know why Japanese like this cute creature as pet, display item or carrying them around (eg wallet, purse etc ) --- which have this mysterious energy to attract good luck & wealth !

Take a look how popular Sanrio ( Keroppi Frog), Sesame Street ( Kermit the Frog) etc. If you understand the secret code of frog, you should also know why our local successful Sushi chain (Sakae sushi) is always so crowded & have expanded business to many countries ! :>

May all my customers & readers have Good Luck, Great Health and Good Wealth (all "kaeru") back throughout the year with multiple folds ! 
